READ BEFORE YOU APPLY

What to Expect

This is a hands-on build, not a lecture. Please read these so it's a great fit before you apply.

1 · Bring your own laptop — min 8GB RAM

You'll build your OS on your own laptop. A laptop is not provided. It must be a Mac or Windows laptop (not a Chromebook or tablet) with at least 8GB of RAM (16GB recommended for a smooth all-day build), a charger, and ideally administrator rights to install apps.

How to check your RAM — Mac: Apple menu → About This Mac → "Memory." Windows: Ctrl + Shift + Esc → Task Manager → Performance → Memory (or Settings → System → About → "Installed RAM").

2 · You'll install Claude + Obsidian

Your OS runs on two apps. Claude (Anthropic's AI assistant) is the engine. Obsidian is a free note app where your business context and your system's memory live as plain files you fully own. On the day you'll install both — no tech skill needed, we walk you through every step. (Claude needs a paid plan, see below; Obsidian is free.)

3 · You'll need a Claude plan that can run all day

The full-day build runs Claude hard for 8 hours, so you need a paid plan with enough usage to keep going without hitting limits:

Solo / small business: Get Claude MaxMax 5× ($100/mo USD) is plenty for the build day. (Pro at $20/mo would run out within a couple of hours.) You can downgrade afterward if your day-to-day use is light.

Already on Team or Enterprise? You likely already have Cowork access — just confirm your usage limit is high enough for an intensive day. We'll help you check before the session.

Heads-up: a Claude API / developer account on its own does not include Cowork — you'll still need one of the subscription plans above. It's not provided. (Claude plans are priced in USD by Anthropic; bootcamp seats are in CAD.)

4 · No prior experience needed

You don't need to be technical. If you can run a business and install an app, you can do this. We guide the whole room, step by step.

5 · Your OS is something you build & maintain — not set-and-forget

You'll leave with a real working system, but an AI OS needs ongoing building and upkeep as your business and tools change. The bootcamp gets you started and capable — keeping it sharp is on you (and we're here if you want help).

6 · Built to support your team, not replace it

Two days gets you a working system that takes busywork off your plate and gives your team a head start. Think of it as extra support — your OS works alongside your people, handling repetitive tasks so they can focus on the higher-value work only they can do.

7 · Come ready to connect your tools

The real magic is connecting your OS to the apps you already use (email, calendar, CRM, etc.). Bring your logins and have admin access where you can, so we can wire things up live. The more ready you are, the more you'll walk out with.

8 · Your data stays yours

You'll connect your own accounts and you stay in full control — you own everything you build. We never take possession of your data or your tools; the system runs on your laptop, under your login.

9 · Third-party tools, privacy & liability

Your OS runs on third-party tools — Claude (Anthropic), Obsidian, and the apps you choose to connect. Your data is handled under each provider's own terms and privacy policy, not ours. Before you sign up, we recommend reviewing how Claude processes your data and managing your data-sharing settings. Contracode AI helps you set everything up, but is not responsible for how third-party providers handle, store, or process your data, or for any data loss or exposure arising from their services. You choose what to connect and remain responsible for your own accounts and data.
